It is an individualized wardrobe consultation and fashion etiquette service that assists men, young men, pre-teens and boys in the areas of personal styling, advanced grooming and image consultation.
My journey in becoming a personal stylist has been in me since I was a small kid. I would look in the better homes and Garden magazines and see how the decorators and designers would put together different patterns and colors together to set the look of the room. I would always think of doing that with fashion in the clothes i would choose…..”SET THE LOOK”. As long as I can remember, I’ve always been putting clothing with different patterns, shapes, designs and colors together to make strikingly confident eye catching statements. I would go through my closet and put together outfits that I thought would fit that bill. I would try them on and have my mother take pictures of me in them. No idea I was putting together my first look book as a teenager. Having the strong desire to combine timeless, classic, quality clothing with modern, contemporary style, I have been able to take the best of both worlds and fuse those ideas together. This is similar to marrying the traditional feel and elegance of custom made, three piece, gray pinstripe, super 150 wool suit with the trendiness and comfortability of a leather-lined, rubber sole, blue leather low top sneaker. My goal is to work with men on an individual level to find their own personal look and discover their style. To put together a strategic plan to obtain their desired result. I am very passionate about helping men look and feel their absolute best in every situation. Be it working with clients outside of the office, vacationing with the family; to a destination wedding on a remote island or just a Saturday morning football game or hockey match. I give my all in assisting men feel their very best.
Imagestry is not just about developing looks for business and formal wear, I also have a strong interest in developing a stylish approach to the business-casual trap. I refer to it as a trap simply because most men either have several casual pieces that’s too casual to wear for conducting business or a closest full of suits that’s too dressy to wear in a semi-casual setting, but not having a good mixture of both. There’s no middle of the road. This is what I often refer to as the “Middle Game Mindset”. The Middle Game Mindset or MGM is geared more toward selecting clothing around sophistcation, comfortability and functionality. be it working with a client outside the office, vacationing with the family; to a destination wedding on a remote island or just a Saturday morning football game or hockey match. The Middle Game Mindset gives you custom fitted, great looking clothing curated to your own personal style and personality that makes you look like you paid a million bucks for your clothes, but you did not.
